About THe JV Hoops Showcase

As a coach, Athletic Director, player, or parent, you know that Varsity teams typically receive the bulk of the attention when it comes to showcases and tournaments, while JV teams often stick to their regular school schedules.

Our format gives public and private schools the opportunity to compete against quality opponents who are not on their non-conference schedule — and without facing teams from their own conference.

Sponsored by DTLR and DTLR Sports, we’re bringing that same exposure, excitement, and recognition to JV high school basketball players in the Cleveland, Ohio area — giving them the spotlight they’ve earned. The JV Hoops Showcase will take place in the Cleveland area on Saturday, December 5th 2026.

History

In 2017, the JV Showcase tipped off its first event with just 10 JV high school teams in the Baltimore area. Eight years later, it has expanded to more than 50 JV boys’ and girls’ teams, making it the largest JV Showcase in the DMV — and possibly on the East Coast. What began as a simple idea has grown into a “can’t miss” event, attracting JV programs from Ontario, Canada down to Northern Virginia.

Our Showcases are organized with purpose, run professionally, and designed to be cost-effective for participating programs. We focus on the details to create a first-class experience for players, coaches, parents, and fans. An on-site athletic trainer is always available, and our experienced site directors ensure the event runs smoothly and professionally from start to finish.
